Key Foundation, Inc. (KFI) is a for-profit organization.  KFI provides supports to adults ranging from age 18 to end of life whose primary diagnosis is intellectual and/or developmental disabilities under one of the following Medicaid waivers:  the New Options Waiver (NOW) or the Comprehensive Supports Waiver (COMP). 

KFI is a contracted provider with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).  Our homes/community living arrangements are licensed through Healthcare Facility Regulation (HFR) which is a division of the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH).  Individuals receiving services may use their waivers to pay for services or private pay if they do not have a waiver.

KFI offers the following services:

• Community Access Group

• Community Access Individual

• Residential Services

• Supported Employment (when in combination with another service)

• Specialized Medical Supplies (when in combination with another service)

KFI has certainly grown over the years, opening in 2001, increasing the number of employees, people served, and services offered. KFI partners with companies in the community that welcome our individuals into their place of business to volunteer and/or work.

DAY SERVICES

We offer several options at Beech Creek and/or in the community. Options such as community access, which includes group and/or individual. We provide opportunities and supports needed to be as successful as possible. We provide transportation to and from our day center to individuals Our day services are always growing and looking to serve our community! RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS

We have four beautiful homes located throughout Haralson County. Three homes are located in Tallapoosa and one home is located in Buchanan. They are licensed community living arrangements that can accomodate up to four adults.

At this time, our residential locations are fully-packed and we are not currently accepting new individuals into our homes. If you would like to get on a waitlist for our residential services, contact us!
